Mera Bill Mera Adhikar: Everything You Need to Know
The Mera Bill Mera Adhikar scheme is a government initiative launched in September 2023 to encourage consumers to ask for invoices for their purchases of goods and services attracting Goods and Services Tax (GST). The scheme offers cash rewards, ranging from Rs 10,000 to Rs 1 crore, through monthly and quarterly draws.
Who Can Participate?
Any person who is a resident of India and has made a purchase of goods or services attracting GST worth Rs 200 or more can participate in the scheme.
How to Participate?
To participate in the scheme, consumers need to upload their GST invoices on the Mera Bill Mera Adhikar website or app. The invoices must be in a .jpeg, .png, or .pdf format and must be clear and readable.
How to Upload Invoices?
There are two ways to upload invoices on the Mera Bill Mera Adhikar platform:
- Using the website: Go to the Mera Bill Mera Adhikar website and click on the “Upload Invoice” button. Enter your mobile number and click on the “Send OTP” button. Enter the OTP that is sent to your mobile number and click on the “Submit” button. Upload the invoice by clicking on the “Choose File” button.
- Using the app: Download the Mera Bill Mera Adhikar app from the Google Play Store or the App Store. Open the app and click on the “Upload Invoice” button. Enter your mobile number and click on the “Send OTP” button. Enter the OTP that is sent to your mobile number and click on the “Submit” button. Upload the invoice by clicking on the “Choose File” button.
What are the Prizes?
Every month, 10 invoices will be randomly selected for a prize of Rs 1 lakh each. Another 80 invoices will be selected for a prize of Rs 10,000 each. The quarterly draws will have 30 prizes of Rs 1 lakh each and 240 prizes of Rs 10,000 each.
How to Claim the Prize?
If you are a lucky winner, you will be notified by SMS or email. You will need to provide your PAN card number and bank account details to claim the prize.
