Only four pitchers in Milwaukee Brewers history have recorded 200 strikeouts in a season.
They are Ben Sheets (2004), Zack Greinke (2011), Corbin Burnes (2021, 2022), and Freddy Peralta (2023).
Sheets holds the Brewers' single-season strikeout record with 264 strikeouts in 2004.
Greinke is the only Brewers pitcher to record 200 strikeouts in a season without also winning the Cy Young Award.
Burnes is the only Brewers pitcher to record 200 strikeouts in back-to-back seasons.
Peralta is the first Brewers pitcher to record 200 strikeouts in a season before the age of 27.
All four pitchers are considered to be among the best pitchers in Brewers history.
They have all helped to lead the Brewers to playoff appearances.
