A 24-year-old man named Saksham Pruthi was electrocuted while using a treadmill at a gym in Rohini, Delhi, on Tuesday, July 19, 2023.
The incident occurred at the Gymplex Fitness Zone in Sector 15, Rohini.
Pruthi was running on the treadmill when he suddenly came in contact with an exposed electrical wire.
He was rushed to the Baba Saheb Ambedkar Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The gym owner has been detained by police on suspicion of causing a fatality through negligence.
